BISHOP RICARDO GRANT & Pastor Shandlene Grant
Founder /Sr. Pastor

Universal Household of Faith & Community Holiness Church
Father & Covering of the Universal Fellowship Alliance of Churches

Bishop Ricardo Grant was born on the Island of New Providence, in the Bahamas. He has
matriculated at several Institutions of higher learning, earning degrees at the Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral levels in Nashville, Tennessee, and Arkansas. After returning to the Bahamas, he

took up residence in Freeport, Grand Bahama where he engaged in an extensive Settlement–to-
Settlement Evangelism for years resulted in thousands coming to Christ. Bishop Grant stands as

the Senior Pastor for two growing and thriving Ministries on the Island of Grand Bahama,
Universal Household of Faith is located in Hawksbill, which he founded over 30 years ago, and through this work, God enabled him to revolutionize the arena of, ”Praise and Worship” and Apostolic reform and leadership training. The second Ministry is the historic Community Holiness Church in Martin Town, Eight Mile Rock where the transformative power of God is at work.

Over the years he has planted several ministries sending forth Sons and Daughters and
overseeing and covering numerous Pastors, churches, and ministries under the umbrella of the
Universal Fellowship Alliance. Bishop Grant has a heart for souls and is passionate about
advancing the Kingdom of God and bringing order to the body of Christ. God has indeed rested
on him an Apostolic Mantle with a sharp Prophetic eye and has been using him to heighten this

awareness, which consequently allows him to provide specific training concerning the Five Fold-
Ministering-Gifts. He has been called to build, encourage, strengthen, and restore families and

ministries as well as to develop Pastors and Leaders by the power of God’s Word. He is a trail
Blazer, with an Apostolic and Prophetic Voice for this era, He is Kingdom and Globally minded in
his focus and operations.

Bishop Grant continues to pursue his desire to establish a center for developing Christian
Leaders based on their “call” to do the work of Ministry, since the early 90s hosting conferences
and seminars, and in 2003, it could be as he established the Universal Cadet Academy a
disciplinary ministry, with well over 150 youth from all over Grand Bahama, as well as preschool
development initiatives established in both ministries. He is still passionately grooming and
developing the five-fold ministry gifts to the body locally and globally through weekly School of
Ministry Sessions, intense Fundamental Bible Study classes, and practical Activating Training
Sessions. He has served as President of the Bahamas Christian Council for Grand Bahama for (2)
two terms from 2003-2007. He also served as the Acting Assistant Force Chaplain of the
Northern Division of the Royal Bahamas Police Force from 2001 to 2007 and still at present. He
also serves as the Chairman of the Grand Bahama Christian Council of past Presidents, while
serving as the Provincial Leader for the Western Caribbean in the Global United Fellowship
headed by his spiritual father and covering Bishop Neil C. Ellis and is presently a Chaplin for the
United States Spanish Chapter. Bishop Grant is married to the former Shandlene Parker (Pastor)
who works alongside him in ministry and is proud of His children Cache, Isaiah, and Alina.
